From the technological center, located in Valencia, an in vitro cell model was developed to verify the effectiveness bioactive ingredients against SARS-Cov2.
It is a cellular model that enables simulation immune system of the human respiratory tract, in order to be able to identify and evaluate bioactive ingredients that reduce the inflammatory effect caused by respiratory viruses such as SARS-Cov2. AINIA continues to work in this direction to advance knowledge about the effects of various compounds on the immune system of the respiratory tract.
