Argentina. – Lay’s, a company specializing in French fries introduced two new flavors, namely Lay’s Cheese & Pepper potato flavor and Lay’s Caramelized Onion flavor with a package completely intervened by the character of Messi. This is the first time that Lay is working on the concept of “GOAT” (Greatest Of All Time) in relation to Messi and his football achievements.
The packages will be black with gold and silver accents and will include picture of football player Lionel Messi. Lay’s will support the launch with a relevant campaign focused mainly on digital media and points of sale. The new snack will be available in 41g packs. and 85 years old. in supermarkets, convenience stores, warehouses and kiosks in the country.

Lay’s follows this order:
- Lay’s potato chips are produced at the PepsiCo plant located in Mar del Plata, where more than 250 tons of raw potatoes are processed daily. In just 40 minutes, potatoes are washed, peeled, cut, fried and packed.
- The cultivation of all Lay’s potatoes in Argentina is certified by Rainforest Alliance and with Global-GAP standards of good agricultural practice.
- Lay’s is made from specific varieties of potatoes, smaller and rounder than those normally seen in stores. These are special varieties for making chips.
