Delvotest T is approved by AFNOR

This test has been confirmed and approved by AFNOR for the detection of antibiotic residues in milk The French Association for Standardization (AFNOR) has approved Delvotest® T, DSM’s solution for the detection of antibiotic residues in milk. AFNOR is an independent French certification body, which is internationally recognized, so its support for European customers is a formal recognition of the quality and reliability of Delvotest T.

Delvotest T is a reliable and economical test designed to detect traces of antibiotics in leche. Like other DSM broad-spectrum tests, Delvotest T can detect concentrations of any antibiotic above the maximum residue limit (MRL), but it has a higher sensitivity to tetracycline and is closer to the MRL limit than most other available tests. Delvotest T can be used in cow’s, sheep’s and goat’s milk (with or without azidiol as a preservative) and has a clear color code that prevents any possibility of wrong reading.

“Testing for antibiotic residues has become an indispensable tool for farmers and dairy companies worldwide to ensure the quality of their products. With our Delvotest range, since 1974 we have played a key role in reducing pollution of milk, ensure continued compliance with changing standards and protect the valued reputation of dairy producers,” said Mylène Caussette, Marketing Manager, Analytical Testing.
