According to a recent Nielsen report, 30% of surveyed consumers exercise 3 or more times a week. This data comes from an online survey of more than 26,000 consumers in more than 52 countries around the world.
The preference for sports is even more pronounced in North America, where 41% of consumers surveyed said they exercise three or more times a week. Latin America is the second most important, with 33% of consumers.
However, despite the strong trend towards health and body care, it has been noted that in recent years, Argentine consumers have lagged behind consumers from other countries in terms of exercise frequency. 39% of the surveyed Mexicans said that they do physical activity 3 or more times a week, this indicator in the case of Brazil is 35%, while in the case of Argentina it reaches 25%. In any case, only 25% of the respondents stated that they did not engage in physical activity during the week.
